Mystical Danube
"Mystical Danube"
The "Mystical Danube" project deals with the valorization of natural and intangible cultural heritage for the development of tourism, regional growth and social inclusion in the Danube Region. Special focus is on rural and less visited areas with high unemployment and social exclusion.
The project encourages communities through transnational cooperation and the creation of a thematic tourist route „Green and Mystical Danube Storytelling Route“, which connects local stories, legends and knowledge, including vulnerable groups in the development of tourism services.
Project goals
The project has clearly defined objectives and results, which relate to a common approach to the valorization of cultural and natural heritage in the Danube region, the development of sustainable tourism services and the strengthening of transnational cooperation, and are presented below:
